Joe Duffy BMW run for Temple Street Children's Hospital at The Clontarf Run
Joe Duffy BMW were proud to sponsor the Clontarf Half Marathon & 5 Mile Run once again this year. The event is one of our favourites every year and thankfully it got the weather it deserves yet again. 2,500 dedicated runners had a fantastic day out in the sun testing their bodies to the limits while also making great memories with family and friends. On show at the finish line was BMW's first ever 7 seater, The All-new 2 Series Gran Tourer and the Electric i3 which proved a massive hit.
The winning times just get better and better each year with this year's Half-marathon winner finishing in 1:17:32. The best of our team running the race was a titanic effort of 1:45:09. In the 5 Mile run, the winning time was 0:25:41 with Joe Duffy's staff winner coming in after 0:44:29. Due to the event proving a huge success every year and the enjoyment that brings to all participants and staff, we aim to have over 100 of our staff taking part next year in aid of Temple Street Children's Hospital.
